About the teacher
Valérie D. was born and raised in Montréal, Canada. She enjoys travelling, dancing, trying new meals, meeting people from all over the world, and learning more about different cultures. For many years, she lived in Ecuador and Bolivia where she could expand her vision of the world. Her background is mostly French, although she also speaks English, Spanish and Sign Language. She has a TESOL certificate and a Bachelor of Education with distinction. She worked for various online companies as well as in language institutes. She loves teaching because she thinks there is nothing like having the opportunity to make a change in people's lives. Therefore, she does her best to transmit her joy of learning by paying close attention to her students, challenging them when needed, and making her classes as fun and interactive as possible. She will help you gain fluency as well as speak, read, and write accurately. She teaches children and adults of all ages.
