QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Frequently asked questions

Answers about courses, teachers, online lessons and learning arrangements.

01Do I need to register before enrolling?

No, you do not need to create a website account before enquiring about or enrolling in a course.

You can select a course on the Courses page and click “Enquire or Register” to complete the course registration form. You may also contact EasyMeow or submit a general course enquiry with the student’s grade, learning needs, and preferred class times.

After receiving your information, an EngEasy course advisor will contact you to confirm the course, teacher, schedule, and fees. Once the arrangements are finalized, we will guide you through the remaining steps and provide student portal access when needed.

02What are the main sections of the EngEasy website?

The website includes Home, Courses, Teachers, Booking, News, Q&A, Enquiry, and My Account. Home highlights selected courses, teachers, and activities. Courses presents available learning options and teacher information. Teachers introduces our educators. Booking is used for eligible one-to-one lessons or trial lessons. News shares school and education updates. Q&A answers common questions. Enquiry lets families ask about courses, teachers, and learning plans. My Account contains the learner’s courses, bookings, calendar, orders, messages, and personal information.

03What should I do if I can no longer continue a course and need a refund?

Please contact your EngEasy learning advisor or customer service representative first. We will try to resolve scheduling or course-fit concerns before processing a withdrawal. Approved refunds are calculated from the amount actually paid and returned through the original payment method. For private or semi-private lessons, the remaining balance is refundable after the first lesson once that lesson is deducted; after the second lesson, 80% of the remaining balance is refundable. For groups of three or more, the remaining balance is refundable after the first lesson once that lesson is deducted; after the second lesson, 50% of the remaining balance is refundable. Promotional discounts are deducted when applicable, used coupons become invalid, and some special-price or complimentary courses are non-refundable. Contact EngEasy for the policy that applies to your specific course.

04What should I do if my child cannot attend an upcoming lesson?

For a one-to-one lesson, notify the teacher in the class communication group at least one day in advance to discuss rescheduling, cancellation, or extending the course. If no notice is given and the teacher waits more than 15 minutes, the lesson may be counted as completed. For a group lesson, notify the group at least one day in advance and ask whether a recording can be provided. The student should review the recording and complete the assigned work before the next class.

05I have enrolled in a course. How do I join the lesson?

Install the Zoom desktop application before class and confirm that it works properly. EngEasy will provide the classroom information before the scheduled lesson. Sign in, open **My Courses**, select the appropriate class, and use its classroom or Zoom information to join. Please enter on time and follow the class rules.

06What should students know about class participation, homework, and absences?

Students should respect the teacher and classmates, prepare their computer a few minutes early, and join from a quiet place with working audio and video. Cameras should remain on unless the teacher approves otherwise. Students should participate actively, avoid interruptions and unrelated conversation, and complete homework in time for teacher feedback. School-related communication should remain in the official class group or go through EngEasy. Private-lesson absences require at least one day’s notice; otherwise a lesson may be counted after the teacher has waited 15 minutes. Group-class absences also require advance notice and may be handled through a recording when available.

07How do I enrol in a course and make a payment?

Open the course information and review the description, schedule, and teacher profile. Select the appropriate registration or enquiry button and submit the requested information. EngEasy will confirm the course arrangement and payment instructions with you. Available payment methods and any applicable promotion will be shown or explained before payment. Please verify the course and payment details before completing the transaction.

08What is an EngEasy learning advisor or course referral partner?

EngEasy works with learning advisors and referral partners who share our educational values and help families understand suitable teachers and courses. If you are interested in becoming a partner, please contact EngEasy for the current application form and programme information.

09Which payment methods does EngEasy accept?

EngEasy generally accepts major credit cards and Alipay, and course prices are normally shown in U.S. dollars. Alipay payments may be completed by scanning the displayed QR code. For credit-card payments, enter the card number, security code, expiry date, billing address, and postal code as requested. The billing information must match the card issuer’s records. Please follow the payment instructions provided for your course.

10There are many courses. How should I choose one?

You can browse the course list by grade, subject, learning goal, or teacher. Each course page provides key information such as the course focus, intended learners, teacher, and registration link. If you are uncertain, submit the course enquiry form with the student’s grade, current level, goals, and preferred schedule. An EngEasy learning advisor will help identify appropriate options.

11How can I view teacher profiles?

Open **Teachers** to view the full teacher directory. Select a teacher to see the teacher’s photograph, areas of expertise, professional background, and detailed introduction. If you need help choosing a teacher, submit the course enquiry form and tell us about the student’s age, learning needs, and goals.

12My child has completed a course successfully. Where can I provide feedback?

Thank you for sharing your experience. Please contact your EngEasy learning advisor or use the feedback option provided for the course. Feedback helps teachers and the school improve course quality and learning support.

13How many lessons are normally included, and how long is each lesson?

Many EngEasy programmes are organized in sets of 10 lessons, while some series contain 20 or 30 lessons. One-to-one and semi-private lessons are usually 60 minutes. Lessons for younger children, especially ages three to six, may be 30 minutes. Group lessons with three or more students are usually 90 minutes. The confirmed course information takes priority because schedules and lesson lengths may vary.

14How do I use a coupon?

Coupons may be offered for selected courses or provided directly to eligible families. Each coupon states its value, applicable course or conditions, and expiry date. When a coupon is available, follow the instructions provided during registration or payment. Coupons cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be reused after redemption.

15How can I contact EngEasy if I have questions?

Use the **Enquiry** form and provide your question and contact information. You may ask about schedules, teachers, course planning, or other learning needs. An EngEasy advisor will follow up as soon as possible.

16Can I use the website on a mobile phone?

Yes. Open engeasy.com in a mobile browser to view teachers, courses, Q&A, news, and enquiry information. Some account and registration functions may also be available on mobile. For the best classroom experience, students should normally join online lessons from a computer with reliable audio, video, and the required classroom application.

17What are pre-registration, trial, and regular courses?

Pre-registration allows families to express interest before a class schedule is confirmed. A trial lesson lets the student experience the teacher and course before continuing. A regular course refers to the remaining scheduled lessons after the trial or to a confirmed programme without a separate trial. EngEasy will provide the confirmed schedule, fees, and enrolment instructions for each course.

18Can students take a trial lesson?

Many courses offer a paid trial lesson, often as the first lesson of a new group. EngEasy may also organize separate trial-class activities. Availability depends on the teacher, course, and recruiting schedule. Please use the enquiry form to ask about current trial options.

19Which currency is used for course fees?

Course fees are generally quoted and settled in U.S. dollars (US$), unless EngEasy provides different written payment instructions for a specific course.

20Which software is used for online lessons?

Most EngEasy lessons use Zoom. Students should install the Zoom desktop application before class and confirm that their camera, microphone, speakers, and internet connection work properly. If a course uses a different classroom platform, EngEasy will provide the relevant instructions in advance.

21What is the Message Centre used for?

The Message Centre provides important reminders and updates, which may include class reminders, booking information, order notices, and system messages. Please review new messages regularly so that you do not miss a class, registration deadline, or other important information.

22How do I book a one-to-one private lesson or trial lesson?

Contact EngEasy or use the available booking option to request a teacher and suitable time. Confirm the teacher, schedule, lesson type, and fee before payment. After confirmation, the lesson will appear in the relevant class or booking information. If you need to cancel or reschedule, notify the teacher and EngEasy at least 24 hours in advance whenever possible.

23Why can’t I find a course in My Account after submitting an order?

Submitting an order does not always mean that payment or enrolment has been completed. Confirm that payment was successful and that you received an order or registration confirmation. Unpaid orders may expire automatically. If payment was completed but the course still does not appear, contact EngEasy and provide the student’s name, course, and payment information so that we can check the enrolment.
