About the teacher
Letty was raised in and studied in New York. She has a bachelor's in the Principles and Methods of Language Education. Letty has taught English to children and adults from different parts of the world for over a decade. She specializes in teaching phonics, reading comprehension, and oral English to children of all grades. As an avid reader, she loves to teach novel studies. She enjoys finding books whose themes encourage student dialogue and captivate the readers. Her strengths are adapting to the needs of the student and creating a fun classroom environment to get students involved. A good teacher is a good student, so Letty strives to share her enthusiasm and love of learning with her students. When teaching group classes, she tailors the class to meet the needs of each individual student, so as to bring out the best in them.
