Michael Kurtz holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida and a Master’s degree in Education. With over 15 years of international teaching experience, he specializes in SAT Reading & Writing, AP English Language & Literature, ACT, SSAT, TOEFL, and IELTS.
A former AP English teacher, Michael is known for his dynamic, rigorous, and creative teaching style. He emphasizes critical thinking, advanced reading comprehension, rhetorical analysis, and effective writing rather than memorization.
His challenging, interactive classes are best suited for motivated students who actively participate and complete assignments. His goal is to develop independent thinkers and help students achieve measurable academic improvement.
