About the teacher
Mathematics and education are careers that Dr. Carl has devoted his life to. Dr. Carl has shown his mathematics talent since he was a child and has won numerous awards in various math competitions. He holds a bachelors and masters degree in Math from Cal. State University Northridge, a D.A. in Math in 1995 from Idaho State University and a Ph.D. in Math in 1998 from the University of Alabama. In his mathematics teaching career for more than 40 years, Dr. Carl has taught mathematics at many universities throughout the United States. In addition to his work in mathematics education, he has made outstanding achievements in mathematics research, has won numerous awards and has countless publications and papers presented. Dr. Carl has extraordinary knowledge of mathematics and can teach all mathematics subdivision subjects from elementary school to university and above, as well as business and computer subjects. With decades of experience in mathematics education, he understands the difficulties and solutions of students learning mathematics very well, is good at discovering and correcting students' weaknesses, and is good at using various flexible ways to help students understand knowledge instead of just following rules. Dr. Carl believes that in addition to in-depth knowledge of mathematics, students also need to learn how math topics are related which makes it easier to do mathematics.
