Congratulations: Two EngEasy Students Shortlisted for the John Locke Essay Competition

The John Locke Essay Competition is a prestigious global academic event organized with the participation of professors from leading institutions such as the University of Oxford and Princeton University. The number of submissions has risen dramatically—from 2,740 in 2020 to 34,823 in 2024—while the shortlist rate fell from 26% to 16.9%. Participating in the competition and achieving a strong result can support applications to leading universities in the United Kingdom and the United States while developing independent thinking, academic writing, and critical reasoning.
The academic guidance provided by EngEasy teachers Ashlyn, a law professor, and Sarah played an important role in improving the students’ essays. We sincerely thank our teachers for their dedication.
Ashlyn currently has limited teaching availability. Families seeking advanced academic writing support for older students are welcome to contact EngEasy.
