Refund, Absence, and Cancellation Policy

1. Before requesting withdrawal or a refund, contact your EngEasy learning advisor or customer service representative. We will first try to resolve scheduling or course-related needs. If continuing is not possible, we will process the applicable refund.

2. Refunds are calculated from the amount actually paid and returned through the original payment method.

3. One-to-one and semi-private classes: after the first lesson, the first lesson fee is deducted and the remaining balance is refunded. After the second lesson, completed lesson fees are deducted and 80% of the remaining balance is refunded. Students who wish to continue may be offered another suitable course instead.

4. Group classes with three or more students: after the first lesson, the first lesson fee is deducted and the remaining balance is refunded. After the second lesson, completed lesson fees are deducted and 50% of the remaining balance is refunded.

5. For a missed one-to-one lesson, notify the teacher in the class group at least one day in advance to reschedule or extend the course. Without advance notice, the teacher may count the lesson after waiting more than 15 minutes, and the lesson is non-refundable.

6. For a missed group lesson, notify the class group at least one day in advance and request a recording when available. A group lesson missed by an individual student is non-refundable.

7. If a course was purchased through a promotion, the promotional amount is deducted when calculating the refund. Used coupons become invalid, have no cash value, and cannot be reused.

8. Some specially priced or complimentary courses are non-refundable.

9. EngEasy reserves final interpretation of this policy.
